Cassandra Arnold was born in England, ran away to Australia at the age of 21 and moved to Calgary, Canada in February 2010. She is a doctor working with Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), writes comedy science fiction and fantasy as a way of relaxing, and loves almost all animals. She is discovering a passion for digital photography and manipulation as a way of telling visual stories.

Allison Bagot is 21 years old and from Annandale, Virginia. She currently attends James Madison University, where she is pursuing a BFA in studio art with a concentration in Drawing and Painting.
Gary Beck
Gary Beck has spent most of his adult life as a theater director and worked as an art dealer when he couldn’t earn a living in the theater. His original plays and translations of Moliere, Aristophanes and Sophocles have been produced Off Broadway and toured colleges and outdoor performance venues. He currently lives in New York City, where he’s busy writing fiction and poetry, which have appeared in numerous literary magazines.
Mike Berger
Mike Berger is from North Ogden, Utah. He has a Ph.D and an MFA, and is a member of the Academy of American Poets. He is the author of two books of short stories, and he has been writing poetry for two years. Three of his humor pieces have won awards, and his work has appeared in around forty-five journals, including AIM, Still Crazy, First Edition, Stray Branch, MidWest Quarterly, Evergreen Review, and WestWard Quarterly.

Claire Cecil is a 21 year-old college senior from Chantilly, Virginia. She is majoring in Creative Writing at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Hugh Fox:
Hugh Fox was born in Chicago in 1932. He received a Ph.D. in American Literature from the University of Illinois, studied Latin American Literature at the University of Buenos Aires, and worked as an archeologist in the Chilean Atacama Desert. Additionally, he taught English and American Literature for almost 50 years at a number of institutions both domestically and abroad.

Duane J Jackson is a 30 year old freelance writer and poet from Kolkata, India. While he is not working as Assistant Manager in a banking organization or writing he enjoys dabbling in the ‘what’s what’ of world, national and social affairs, reading mythology, listening to rock, folk and world music and stocking his aquarium with cichlid fish. Sonja Larsen tried to write her first book at the age of ten, an epic called Ruth And The Animals, about a girl named Ruth who rescued a lot of animals. Several decades later she is at work on her second book, a memoir about growing up in cults and communes. A native of Wisconsin she now lives in Vancouver, British Columbia where she works with at-risk youth. Her writing has been published in literary magazines as well as the Globe and Mail.

Jenny Oritz is a 23 year-old from Queens, New York. When she isn’t pleading with Kurt Sutter via Twitter to be her mentor, she is teaching at St. John’s University, Adelphi University, and LaGuardia Community College. She likes to read Haruki Murakami, and listen to the Broken Bells.

Jun (Julia) Zhou was born in Hang Zhou, China, and moved to Canada in 1999 with her family. In pursuit of her interest in art, she has experimented with various mediums including graphite, charcoal, carbon dust, soap stone, feather, watercolour, and acrylic.
